Employee Rapid Access Clinic

Our Rapid Access Centers (RAC) are designed to:

Provide same-day access for acute care needs for MUSC employees and their dependents.
Improve acute care service responsiveness of Primary Care for our employees.
Provide quality care in a brief appointment (15 minutes).

The RAC provides a range of services, including treatment and care for:

Abscess/cyst/boils
Allergies
Asthma
Cold/Sinus infection
Conjunctivitis/pink eye
Cough
Diarrhea
Ear infection/pain/symptoms
Fever/chills
Flu
Headache
Hemorrhoids/rectal bleeding
Joint pain/symptom

Musculoskeletal pain (excludes chest pain)
Nail infection (do not remove nails)
Nosebleed
Palpitations
Pink eye
Rash
Scabies
Skin infection/cellulitis
Sore throat/pharyngitis
Thrush
UTI/bladder infection
Vaginal discharge

* We recommend you speak with a Financial Counselor to ensure insurance coverage. Representatives are available Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by calling 843-792-2311 or 800-598-0624.

Please call to schedule an appointment. Also, bring your insurance card and co-pay at the time of your appointment.

If your condition is related to a work-related injury, you will need to go to Employee Health Services.
